In years gone by - or at least in the years I was hunting for nice coasters (probably before online stores really existed), you'd be hard-pressed to find nice options in bricks-and-mortar shops. In fact, some homewares stores didn't even have coasters. And the ones that did were usually a bit cringe-worthy (coasters with names on them... I don't think I need to go into it).

Live This Randwick ButterfliesOK, confession time: I've lived in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney for over five years and prior to last week I had not step foot inside Live This at The Spot in Randwick. I know, the shame! The good news though, is that now that I've discovered this local gem, it's going to be a long summer of homewares purchasing (how much do I have to buy before the shame goes away?).

So I only recently realised I have a fair few bird ornaments about the place. I also realised I had named a few of them. Call it sick and twisted but it's a reality. I've also snapped a lot of them in homewares stores. Am I following them or are they following me? Who knows. Check out my feathered collection...Ceramic white Bird Ornament
