I've always been a bit hesitant to introduce indoor plants into my living space. In the past, they've reminded me of a doctor's surgery or corporate office of the '90s. I don't know about you, but the thought of indoor pots with moss spilling out over them makes me cringe uncontrolably. Thankfully, I spotted this glorious solution to totally revamp the concept of greenery indoors - and all it takes is a few decorative wicker baskets.
It's safe to say that I'm addicted to sugar. If I didn't run regularly I'm not sure in what state my body would be in (actually, a pretty blissful one). In any event, I was delighted to pop into the wonder that is Sparkle Cupcakery at the weekend and finally try one of their fantastic cupcake creations. I'm going to keep it real and admit that they're going to be a staple in my diet from here on in because they're that good. And on a sidenote, I will need to run more.
Sometimes you stumble across a creative who truly epitomises the concept of making it big and living the dream. Case in point - Melbourne-based Jenna Spence from Mister Moss - who took her genius creation and turned it into a fully-fledged business, producing a product that I'm currently going gaga over. I took five with this creative to get the lowdown on these glorious hanging plants and how it all came together.
Confession time: I've lived in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney for well over six years and prior to last weekend I had not been to The Norfolk. Even after its killer makeover in December 2010 (I know, cuff me and throw away the key). Plenty of people had told me how much I would love the beer garden there - and after sitting in it for a few hours recently, they weren't wrong. Its laid-back, mismatched retro vibe is right up my alley (as are the cocktails)!
