Every year I search high and low for Christmas gift wrapping ideas. Then I hit the stores and search high and low for wrap and cards that fit in with the theme I've chosen. Sometimes, things don't always go according to plan, or I can't find the exact ones I want.
I've always said that the wrapping paper and card is more important than the gift itself. The reason for this, of course, is that the way a gift is presented can mean the difference between creating a true moment (filled with oohs and aahs and suspense), or just having it be fleeting second where packaging is ripped open and tossed aside as the recipient races to get to the supposed good stuff.
Is it just me or are fathers so much harder to buy for than mums? I don’t see why a pack of bath bombs and fluffy pink slippers can’t be given to Dads, too. OK, so I’ve never actually purchased that for my father, but I do tend to gravitater toward the same standard gifts every year. This year will be different of course, thanks to the gang at Officeworks.
