The Life Creative Headquarters - Vintage Key DishI did a bit of a clean up on Saturday and thought it might be a good opportunity to show you inside The Life Creative home. After all, the cats were behaving, the sun was shining and I was busy killing time trying to avoid doing homework for my course (procrastination is something I've become very skilled at). So here you go, Creatives, it's not the stuff magazines are made of - but nobody lives in the magazines anyway - so take a squiz and let me know what you think.

Distressed Coasters from Stone InspiredI've been through my fair share of coasters over the years. Not only because some of them fall apart, but because it's hard to hone in on a style that feels timeless as well as working from a practical perspective (a cork coaster is a one way ticket to Absorption City). I was a bit overcome when I got my hands on these bad boys from Stone Inspired, then - with a personalised gift inside just for me!

The new issue of Inside Out - available now - proved it by including me as one of its Six Blogs to Bookmark. That is, of course, not the only phenomenal thing about this issue, but it certainly helped raise my excitement levels when I got home to rip open my subscription and flick to page 42 to see The Life Creative mentioned!

Happy Home by Charlotte Hedeman GueniauI thought I was a fan of colour and extremely adverse to the use of beige until I picked up Happy Home by the founder of Danish homewares company RICE, Charlotte Hedeman Gueniau. It clearly states from the get-go that not all Danish design is about cool and calm interiors and I must admit, the whole ethos of the book being fun, colour and enjoyment speaks to me like the new Pope speaks to the man upstairs (and I sometimes talk back)!
