Is it just me or are interiors getting more subdued? Every client I’ve worked with the past few years wants a sense of calm at the forefront of their home’s design. They want to turn down the tone, pare back the pattern, and embrace simplicity.
One of our fave homemaker magazines, Home Beautiful, has obviously been paying attention to the muted home movement. Their dreamy new collection of decor delivers the calm you’re craving, all while keeping it elegant and inviting. And in today’s post, I want to show you some of the best bits for your bedroom and other pockets at home.
Not only can you preview the collection in this post (available exclusively through MyHouse and HOUSE – Bed & Bath) but you can also enter to win a $500 voucher to spend on it or other decorative goodies from their extensive range online. Scroll on to enter the draw.

Foundations is the Timeless Beauty
If you find you gravitate toward a quilt cover set that’s muted in colour without too much detail, Foundations is where it’s at for you.
This soothing soft cotton bedding comes in four colours (white, mist, dawn and petal), and features a refined stitch edge. As you can see from the photo above, it’s super versatile too, allowing you to put your own style stamp on top through throws and cushions.
This quilt cover set will work no matter what interior design style you’ve got going on at home, so it’s definitely the all-rounder that plays well with others.
Adley is the Adventurous One
Pattern in the bedroom can go OTT if you’re not careful, but with the Adley quilt cover set you get the visual interest without the overwhelm. After all, you’re in bed, right? You want the experience to be calm. But you want it to be inviting too. Adley delivers on both fronts.
The black stitch running across this bad boy gives a nod to a tribal/aztec aesthetic, but it’s so relaxed and refined that it doesn’t push you in one style direction.
This one feels very on-trend for what’s happening in interiors now, and yet it’s so smartly done that it’ll still look great in the years to come.
Sloane is All About the Details
OK, so Sloan has to be my fave in the entire Home Beautiful homewares collection. It reminds me of the wallpapers I’ve used in homes before where it reads as a neutral from afar, but the closer you get to it the more the subtle detail becomes evident and intriguing.
And what detail it is! The nurturing grey and white herringbone patterns so on-trend for now, and yet completely classic at the same time. And because the print is so soft and soothing, you can overlay an array of coverlets, cushions and throws knowing they’ll all work together in perfect harmony.
Yumi Doesn’t Scream Style, She Whispers It
If I took a survey of TLC readers and asked them their fave bedding colour, I can guarantee you white would come in at number one. But we like our whites to be interesting, right? And with a quilt cover set like Yumi, that’s what you get.
The tufted textures adorning this bedding gives you personality, but with calm at the forefront. It’s understated luxury, quiet sophistication and offers tactility for days. Yumi is a well-balanced, quality-packed quilt cover set you’ll own for ages.
Naya is the Supportive Best Friend
Naya is a divine coverlet that makes for a great supporting player on any of the delicious quilt cover sets from the Home Beautiful collection. Available in white or blue, both colours are made from relaxed washed cotton and feature a subdued in-built pattern.
Naya is soft and luxurious, and is ideal to use in the height of summer as a lightweight layer, or save it for winter and bring oodles of coziness to the top of your bedscape.
Home Beautiful Sheets, Cushions, Throws and Decor
There’s so much more than quilt cover sets in the Home Beautiful homewares collection. You can also grab yourself some high-quality cotton sateen sheet sets, which feel smooth to the touch and drape wonderfully with a luxurious sheen.
Alternatively, why not explore their stylish cushions and throws, which work in with the bedding or shine just as beautifully on a sofa or armchair in another room altogether?
The collection also includes bath towels, candles, reed diffusers and more, meaning you can make over multiple pockets of your home in the same dreamy, cohesive vibe.

My style until recently was Masculine Luxury so Sloane would be a favourite a year ago. The older I get the more a minimalist interior comforts me, Feng Shui and Wabi Sabi in the mix. Attracted to Foundation Dawn which appears to be taking the majority of comments so far. I use European Pillows on our lounge so would love to replace my black pillows to white and maybe a touch of dawn.
Would love a new quilt cover set seeing the cats have done a number on the old one…. The Yindi would fit the bill along with some assorted cushions and maybe a throw as well.
I would love (and also need) some sateen sheets (in white or storm) and some new bath towels. My husband insists on using/ wearing out his old brown bedsheets and towels (that I think may have been a family heirloom from the 14th century…they’re paper thin.) Having brand new sheets would make me feel like I’m staying in a posh hotel. 🙂
Only $500 lol I could happily have the lot but if i have to choose it would be the Naya coverlet & matching European pillowcases in blue. I love the colour: it’s strong but serene at the same time, very unique. I’d also go 2 of the Vista cushions, they are so beautiful & the pattern feels happy to me.
Oh dear! Clicked on the link and before I knew it I had bought the Foundations Range in Blue!
The Sloan range would complete my newly renovated guest room.
Chris,
I love that you save me internet shopping by sending good ideas straight to me. I would spend the $500 on the Foundation dawn quilt cover. I would then go looooong on pillows and cases with a mix and match on the white and dawn pillowcase covers and european cushions. As you taught me, if your partner says you have too many pillows on the bed, respond by buying more!
ps partner will definitely say above.
Wow, where do I start! I’m loving the Sloane range, so dreamy for a great night’s sleep. Starting with the Sloane Quilt Cover Set in Super King, then 2 x Home Beautiful Stripe Cushions and 2 x Home Beautiful Palazzo Cushions Black. Finishing touch would be the MyHouse Home Retreat Knitted Throw in Sage which would take me slightly over budget, but it’s stolen my heart so I’d throw in the extra $99 myself to cover it 🙂
Hi Chris I would spend the $500 voucher on new bed linen for my new home we are about to build. My main bedroom will be olive green so new bedding would be amazing to deck out my new room to go along With a throw rug in different textures. Loving the natural tones .
I desperately need new pillows and throw rugs to give comfort and update decor
Looking forward to having friends and family back in my home. I would spend the voucher on some beautiful new towels in Mist and some summery home fragrances.
