  1. Agree with all comments regarding location of butlers pantries . First thing I noticed . Also judges must not know what’s it’s like to live with kids. They sit at the kitchen bench whenever a parent is in the kitchen . Why are we turning butlers pantries into a narrow pokey kitchens with everything you need in it , only to hide away to prep and cook? One house even had their food pantry in the butlers pantry! I’m a mother of 5 kids . I would be claustrophobic if they all decided to hang out with me in the butlers pantry while I got dinner !

  2. I Agree the Butlers locations are so inconvenient in most of these homes. The listed cost is Cash spend only so doesn’t include sponsors product like cabinetry, Caesar stone, light fixtures or most appliances. That’s just the labor cost and even that isn’t accurate as the kitchens are installed for free and who has trades willing to work until midnight!

  4. I agree. Last season if someone had a dunk in the island bench they all said it was wasting space, now they don’t even care if your not looking out at that beautiful view.
Most seasons if you mixed rose gold with copper and stainless and brass the judges would have crucified them, this season it ‘just works’, but it shouldn’t, lol.
    Dylan and Jen were robbed.

  5. I can’t believe that the judges didn’t comment on the layouts and the route match to the fridge. Also what happened to only being allowed to get a Max of 15% discount on any purchases. The mirror was $800 and came down to $100, and why didn’t we see the negotiations take place on that??? The judges didn’t even comment on the mirror in the kitchen.

  6. If I was to win one of these homes..I would actually probably prefer Rachel & Ryans..its got everything you need, enough “classicness” (not sure that is a word) to make it your own and I don’t think it will date too quickly…minus the silver ball pendants please..

  7. I agree with all you said and really wish the tv channels would list to more public opinion. That block needs a change and needs some real people real prices in, like it was when it first started.

  8. I wonder where the cheval mirror is placed in the kitchen – it was a winning item bought for $100 – I can’t believe it was an $800 mirror and they talked it down to $100 and therefore won the challenge
“It must be in the kitchen” I heard but I haven’t seen it

    1. I agree with the comments made.
I am all for modern kitchens today but l really don’t understand why the sink is always on a bench these days? Who wants to sit around a sink watching someone do the dishes? That’s why these expensive homes have a butlers kitchen to put the dishes in.
