Aussie brand Zakkia has given The Life Creative a look at its brand new homewares collection for 2016. And there’s more than a few surprises in store for lovers of their Scandi-meets-Bondi aesthetic.
Marmoset Found is no stranger to The Life Creative. Their products has been featured on the blog before; gushed over, swooned at, coveted and dreamt about. When photos of their new collection hit the inbox this week, it was all systems to go find out more about it.
Deborah Hutton is so much more than a well-known media personality. She's also a TV presenter, former mag editor and designer of her own homewares range. Oh, and let me not forget to mention her hugely popular website, Balance by Deborah Hutton.Who better to turn to for advice on making entertaining at home a breeze than this lovely lady?
In years gone by - or at least in the years I was hunting for nice coasters (probably before online stores really existed), you'd be hard-pressed to find nice options in bricks-and-mortar shops. In fact, some homewares stores didn't even have coasters. And the ones that did were usually a bit cringe-worthy (coasters with names on them... I don't think I need to go into it).
Truth be told, a microwave is not the most sought-after piece for the home. It might not get the heart racing like a new cushion or candle does, but it is a key item in terms of its day-to-day functionality.
When I spoke to Inside Out stylists a few weeks back on the blog, I was so relieved to hear that marble was still a trend they were fully behind. I love it, I live for it and I don’t see it going away anytime soon either.
I image that the dynamic duo behind new Aussie brand Allegra Stone must be breathing a similar sigh of relief. They have just, after all, launched their new business; specialising in the most amazing marble pieces for the home.
