What a disappointing week it was on The Block Glasshouse. The living room is hands-down my fave room of the house and four out of the five teams created dud spaces - and then felt offended when qualified judges called them out on it. It was the first week I felt rather annoyed by the reveals. Let’s examine why!

Last week I gave you a look into OZ Design's new furniture range, which is split into four glorious collections; Arthouse, Coast, Abode and Global. This week, we're going to delve further into the Arthouse collection (my favourite of the four), plus I'll show you how you can work the pieces into your own home with ease!

Confession: I've always had a bit of a thing for OZ Design. The 'choose your own adventure' aspect of their furniture, where you can customise some of the pieces to suit your space, has always appealed to me. After I cast my eyes over their Spring Summer 14/15 Collections, I'm certain it's love. Let's take a closer look at some stunning new releases!

Clickon Furniture - Orange Couch and ArtYou can never have too much of a good thing I always say, which is why I simply had to pull into the Clickon Furniture showroom in Rosebery last week for another look around (I toured there last year). What I uncovered was nothing short of stunning; new stock, old faves and some left-of-centre moments.

Designer Furniture from Oz Design

My number one rule is to never follow trends too closely. Instead, I like to do what I call 'interior grazing'; grabbing a few nibbles from every scheme that appeals to me. Doing this creates a room that feels balance and won't date. This post is going to explain my philosophy further!

Federation Buffet from Oz DesignI’ve made no secret of the fact that I’m smitten with Oz Design; I’ve featured their glorious homewares on the blog before. As Autumn hits, though, it’s all about the furniture. And the better news, dear Creatives: they’re celebrating 35 years in the industry by giving away a divine Chandon armchair!

Vintage Home Decor - Collectika in Sydney's Enmore

I tell you, moving to the inner west of Sydney has unlocked so many glorious discoveries. This week's adventures took me to an amazing vintage home decor store called Collectika, which features a breathtaking array of retro, vintage and contemporary furniture and homewares. It pretty much sums up my dream interior scheme; clean, quirky and with a generous nod to nostalgia.

Brown Sofa - Oxford - from Oz DesignA friend of mine recently told me she was at a loss when it came to decorating around her brown leather sofa. She had tried adding turquoise accessories but admitted that it felt a little expected (I have to agree with her there). Here are a few ideas to ensure your brown couch - be it leather or upholstered - is used successfully in your space and plays well with your other pieces.
