  1. Hi Chris, I’m a newby to your Block recaps. Loving it. Agree K&J’s room great but rows of 3 seats, problem when invite friends for movie night, who sits with who? Should be 2 or 4.
J&L are obviously designing their house for a family / retreat master bedroom (yeh, any parents dream) & cinema had kids in mind, not just adults.

Look fwd to your post next week.

  2. Chris! I totally agree with your assessment this week, spot on.
Found those gorgeous recliners….PERRY Leather Recliner Chair from Freedom – putting them on the wishlist now.

  3. All the rooms (bar the spa bathroom) needed a wet bar just before entry, hidden away. It would have all the fridge needs that only two cinemas had, but also the ability to store a few glasses, snacks etc.
I disagree with the need for a lot of storage needed in a cinema theatre. Most movies are now streamed, very few blurays needed for those few and far between movies not available (old independent movies) and maybe an airated cabinet for some game consoles.
I agree about the white sofas, but I loved the white armchairs (not colourwise) in no.2 room. Pleasantly surprised how no.5 pulled off the lazy boy chairs I hate so much, well done them.

  4. I thought i was being pucky with Mitch and Mark, i.too wondered about the continuity of pink to blue, i found the styling overdone, and too much gold, needs a coco chanel touch. Also agree with you with Ronnie and Georgia lounges beautiful for my loungeroom but not a cinema room. The boys room was horrendous, i think the winners were picked appropriately. Tanya and Vito room apart from the caramel.chairs I.did not like. I have not liked any of their rooms thus far, all too tacky for me.
