Three years ago today, I hit publish on my first blog post. Who knew that three years later, I'd be hitting publish on post number 1157? (Good Lord that's a lot of blogging).
Last week, the country’s top bloggers came together to take on Sydney Harbour and the CBD. It was all thanks to our agency, Bloggerati by Nuffnang, who along with the help of Destination NSW and Qantas, flew their blogger talent in from across the country to experience what gorgeous Sydney town had to offer.
You need to do something creative for yourself and you need to do it now.Whether you're a full time 9 to 5-er, a busy mum or simply find yourself in moments where you're unsure of where your life is heading, finding a creative outlet is going to change everything. I know this with complete certainty because I've gone on this journey myself. It's going to change the way you feel about yourself, the way you feel about others and the way you approach your everyday life. It has the potential to completely transform your world altogether, actually.
There's really no slow way to ease into this week's most fabulous news. So let's just jump right in; I'm in the new issue of Real Living magazine! Sharing the story of my design journey at the International School of Colour + Design, this full-page spread has me pinching myself - and also gives a glorious shot-out to my work on this little baby, The Life Creative!
Some weeks in blog land are slow, while others - like the one I just experienced - are as mad as ever. This week saw The Life Creative pop up all over the internet; in magazines, on other blogs and in email blasts. It's an exciting moment for a blogger like me - and does mean that the industry is starting to recognise your efforts (praise the Lord!).[line]

The new issue of Inside Out - available now - proved it by including me as one of its Six Blogs to Bookmark. That is, of course, not the only phenomenal thing about this issue, but it certainly helped raise my excitement levels when I got home to rip open my subscription and flick to page 42 to see The Life Creative mentioned!
