This week's Conversation Series post detailed how much I adore Christmas. It also revealed that it never used to be this way - and that the festive season used to stress me out like you wouldn't believe (you can read the full post here).Part of that stress was due to Christmas shopping; not knowing what to get, going into stores without a game plan or budget, and having to end up stuck at the shops on Christmas Eve.

I'm a huge fan of pets and I truly believe that they make our lives - and our homes - infinitely better. For those of us who don't have kids (and even those of us that do, actually), a four-legged friend is our child. We feed them, we clean them, we fret and worry over them and we spend truckloads on them when they get sick. And sometimes spend loads on them just because.

This week gone by I have to admit that I got out and about a fair bit. From Newtown to Bondi Junction and beyond, I took in many a Sydney Homewares piece - and added a dash of fashion for good measure. Let me know which find is your fave, Creatives!Creative Find - Kobo Candle1 | My friend Kevin popped over this week gone by to check out the new digs and brought with him this glorious present from Pentimento in Newtown - a glorious Kobo Candle. The Vetiver and Shaved Vanilla scent is absolute nirvana for the nostrils and I can't put it down. If you're yet to experience Kobo, you don't know what you're missing!

Quirky Art from Jenna Bain's Living HomeI love quirky art and this week's Real Room features just that; an eclectic living space that embraces interesting art. Not only that, it embraces casual furniture while giving a generous nod to craftiness. It's the home of Canberra Creative Jenna Bain, who like me admits to finding editing a challenge in her home when it's filled with so many much-loved pieces. She also admits that not everything in her space matches perfectly, which I think is what makes this room so good!
