Now, you know I love me some Frankie magazine, right? It will come as no surprise, then, that I was a bit beside myself when volume two of their Spaces magazine hit my doorstep today (with a cute little plant attached, might I add). Volume one came out four years ago, so it's been a little white between drinks. Needless to say - it was worth the wait!

Some weeks in blog land are slow, while others - like the one I just experienced - are as mad as ever. This week saw The Life Creative pop up all over the internet; in magazines, on other blogs and in email blasts. It's an exciting moment for a blogger like me - and does mean that the industry is starting to recognise your efforts (praise the Lord!).[line]Chris Carroll - The Life Creative - Adore Home Magazine

Adore Home Magazine - December JanuaryI've been a big fan of Adore Home Magazine for a while now, so I was rather delighted when I was asked to take part in the latest issue, by compiling a list of my fave buys for summer. As with most of the things I adore, the picks showcased high velocity hue and were all a bit fun and frivolous.

Sarai Homewares - Cement Candle Holders1 | I had my socks rocked off this week when I got my hands on this amazing trio of concrete candle holders from Melbourne company Sarai Homewares. Available in a range of colours - including neon - these three holders are made and set in recycled moulds, which is all rather environmentally friendly! The company also stocks my other love - cushions - and more!

Trends from the New IKEA CatalogueNothing gave me greater pleasure this past week than receiving a sneak peek into the upcoming 2014 IKEA catalogue. Not only are there some glorious new products on the horizon and a real focus on spending time at home with loved ones, but there's two hot trends that caught my eye in particular - and they're very different decor looks indeed!
