Confession time: plants never last long on my balcony or terrace.
In the past few years I’ve moved house a few times (most recently from Sydney to Melbourne) and no matter where I style up my outdoor plants, they usually die within months of planting.
Exteriors are not my forte, let me come right out and say that. So while it would be wrong of me to pass judgement on tonight's House Rules garden reveals, fate has decide it must be done. Let's chat the best and worst bits from the NSW and WA outdoor transformations!
Plants are that demanding sometimes that I just lose interest in trying to keep them going all the time. Short of having a courtyard that resembles a cement museum, I had to find some low maintenance garden greenery to give my garden a low-budget pop. Half-an-hour in Flower Power was all it took to get these hardy babies a new home (and they're still alive!). Total spend on plants and soil was around $60.
