Art is such a personal thing. When I’m working with design clients it can often be the hardest piece of the puzzle to get right.
So many clients tell me “I’ll know it when I see it,” which is absolutely understandable. It takes time to find the right piece for your home. This isn’t a cushion, after all. You can’t just swap it out. And you certainly can’t karate chop an artwork (you know how fond I am of a chopped cushion). So it’s important not to rush these decisions.
Given the above, it delights me to no end to partner with Fineprint Co on TLC’s June giveaway. Not only because they’re an amazing local business, but because their range is so extensive.
If you’ve ever thought, I don’t know what my art style is, or you’re like some of my clients who’ll know the right one when they see it, this post is very timely indeed. Because you’ll have a chance at the end of this post to win a $500 voucher to spend on art in Fineprint Co’s online store. And a scroll through their range will definitely have you ooh-ing and ahh-ing.
If you’re worried about choosing the wrong piece, then you need to read my No-Regret Art Buying Guide here. Or, just scroll on through as I show you some of my fave pieces from the Fineprint Co range.

Fineprint Co is the Home of Slim Aarons
If you’re not across the legendary art of Slim Aarons, where have you been? This talented American photographer captured the golden age and wealth in the 1970s and his work has been adorning walls ever since.
The Kaufmann Desert House, pictured above, is one of his more famous works, as is a personal fave of mine, Poolside Gossip. But there are a tonne of photographs in the Slim Aarons range that I know you’ll love.
The good news just in is that Fineprint Co is the exclusive agent for Getty Images here in Australia. This means they’re the only company to have exclusive access to the original Slim Aarons negatives held in the archives at Getty Images.
All Slim Aarons prints from Fineprint Co are embossed with ‘Getty Images Archives’ and comes with a certificate of Authenticity. So you know they’re the real deal.
Prints in this collection start at $510.
We Love Us Some Line Drawings
The Fineprint Co range is massive. Like, absolutely monstrous. The hardest part of this entire giveaway will be deciding which artworks you’d like to spend your $500 voucher on.
I did want to call out the beautiful prints above though, because this style of art is trending hard at the moment and brings such a nice feminine edge to your interior.
These are part of Fineprint Co’s Open Edition Prints Collection, which is a section of their website that caters to more budget-conscious art lovers. Prices here start from just over $80, so you can grab a few of them should you win the voucher.
As I already said, this minimal style of art has become increasingly popular. We’re seeing quite thin line drawings dominating homes of late, and I have to say, I’m loving it. There are lots of different designs in this range too, so you can find your fave female figure and your preferred colour backdrop and shop away.

Beach Art is also a Winner
I was watching TV last night and heard someone mention a statistic that around 80% of Australians live within two hours of the coastline. I can’t verify this claim, but it does explain why so many of us are moved by artworks like the ones above.
These coastal scenes are stunners, and perfectly capture life by the sea. Some of them illustrate local scenery, while others snap moments from overseas. Regardless, these prints are perfect for those of you who have a classic coastal or Hamptons vibe going on at home and want art that taps into that look and feel.
The Churning Seascape artwork in the top-right above is so moody and captivating that it would work on any wall, regardless of your design style. I just love the level of detail in all of these. They’re the sorts of prints you can get lost in; perfect for hanging across from a bed so you have something serene to look at while you drift off to sleep.

Who Doesn’t Love Classic Hamptons?
Ah, we’ve come to the part I know many of you are going to love: classic Hamptons artwork. Those crisp navy tones against blue and soft grey backdrops seem to make hearts race across the country. So I know you’ll be pleased to discover the Fineprint Co has this style of art available as well.
The even better part is that these pieces are in their affordable range, with prices starting from $81.40 (you can afford to do a whole gallery wall of prints at those prices).
Now as you well know, I’ve executed the classic Hamptons style for design clients before, and I’ve also showcased how you can take a Hamptons scheme in a much moodier direction. So there are so many ways to execute hamptons style. But the good news is that prints like these will work no matter which road you go down with your interior look.

Yes Please to Bold Florals
There’s a whole host of more realistic floral paintings in the Fineprint Co range, but I have to say I’m loving the move toward displaying bolder, more abstract designs in homes.
The pieces you see above are just a few that showcase this louder approach. They’d definitely become the whimsical heroes of your space. They’re bright, they’re playful, and they’re packed with personality.
These prints are the clever work of Ophelia Pang, who has had no formal art training but who has managed to produce works that perfectly capture her love of colour.
Pop one of these in a child’s room or express your own love of hue by displaying them in a dining room. Perfect in a mid-Century home or more eclectic interior.

I have been in awe of David Bromley’s work for some time now so would absolutely love to ‘Nude with Flowers Silver’ it would be the perfect piece for our home, encompassing both mine and my husband’s favourite colours and giving that retro feel.
Indistinct by Corban Renouf is my favorite right now after looking at the site because it stands out and is beautiful, but anything by David Bromley who is one of my favorite artists. I love his style whether its his more picture book ones with the children or his woman they are unmistakably him and stunning. I also love Goompi Ugerabah and have been following his work for some time. I like the detail and intricacy of his art. I think if I won I would use it towards one of his prints as it would be amazing to have some of his work.
I am currently ‘stuck’ in Ecuador trying hard to fly back to Australia, something which is frustrating and making me a little nervous. I have a ticket for 1 August, fingers crossed Australia is admitting flights (safely)
I have a little house, near the beach, on the north coast of NSW and my sustaining dream while I wait is to decorate it simply with style and colour, while on a tight budget. Winning this competition would set me off and running, I am so excited as the prospect.
Eva 5 by CJ is such a simplistic photograph but says so much. It reminds me of nostalgic days gone by, on a warm summers evening at dusk, when I was young, beautiful and carefree.

I love both the vibrancy and the mystery!
I love the colours and the vibrancy of Chameleon by Rosetta Santucci. In a large size I think this would be captivating on a white wall and definitely a talking piece yet not overbearing.
I love Renaissance 7 by Vincent Alvarez. WOW!
I love both the Art Deco II and the Abstract III, abstract prints pretty much reflects who I am, these arts will transport me to a different world will complement other decors across my home.
‘Statue‘ resonates with me, scrolling through this one made me stop and think and go back again. I appreciate art that anyone can see a story in, from my 4 year old nice to my 64 year old mum. This is a piece that is timeless, simple and gosh check out those stunning colours!
After spending 3 years renovating our home we now have to decorate the walls with art. I have enjoyed looking through your comprehensive collection and see soo many pieces to love Oooh which ones to choose.
