I’ve declared on the blog in the past that The Block’s Alisa and Lysandra are the best twins since Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen, and their latest project definitely takes their levels of amazing to the next level.
This post is brought to you by United Artworks and Nuffnang.
Collaborating with the country’s leading artwork specialists, United Artworks, the dynamic duo are launching a brand new collection of art prints that you’re going to have kittens over (no, really, have the vet on standby). United Artworks is known for its collaborations with designers, interior stylists and property owners, but this is definitely their best collab yet.
What I adore so much about this new range (besides the fact that in true United Artworks style, it’s incredibly affordable) is the moodiness the pieces bring to a space. There are stunning images of landscapes, animals and other magnificent moments, captured on film and available in both canvas and framed versions.
My favourites from the collection are definitely the animal portraits. The Vox Equinity (above) is so so beautiful, and I can see it working in a number of interiors (it’ll feel right at home in a Scandi, Coastal, Industrial design scheme and more).
The Family Tree piece – featuring those gorgeous elephants – is a bit darker and moodier and would bode well for a room you want to feel more masculine. It’s also ideal in an African-inspired or Global Fusion space, and is a great piece to ground the room.
I also have to give Arctic Solstice and Pastel Skies their moment (below), because both are truly breathtaking; they’re chillingly beautiful and I want both in my studio space immediately if not sooner. They’d both bring such wow factor to a subdued, monochromatic colour palette; just the right amount of subtle colour and both infused with a soft tranquility.
Of the collaboration, the twins say that the vibe they were going for with the prints was moody, raw and ethereal – and that the imagery perfectly balances masculine and feminine tones.
They also tell me that the prints fit in seamlessly with their design style, which is full of opposites.
“Minimalist yet luxe, masculine yet soft, contemporary yet understated; our design represents a world of contrasts,” the twins explain. “We have applied the same design ethos to our new collection of artworks”.
When asked what their number one tip is for choosing art, the girls say that it’s all about emotion.
“When you look at a specific piece of artwork, whether it’s a photographic print or a hand painted abstract piece, you feel… a certain way. Attraction is important, and you know you’ve found the right piece if you are visually drawn to it”.

And if you’re looking to create your own piece of art with the team from United Artworks, you can submit a concept of your own and have their artists bring it to life for you. What a great way to display unique and individual pieces at home!
