A few months back, I posted some tips on how to declutter your home. Recently, I’ve spent a fair bit of time practicing what I preached; clearing out cupboards, drawers, bags and boxes.

My Tips on Organising the Perfect Wardrobe
- Give clothes room to breathe and store your high-end pieces on quality hangers. Hangers with felt ends are great and won’t tear clothing.
- Store special occasion pieces away in boxes with lids. Not only does it prevent dust from getting in, but it ensures these pieces don’t take up essential everyday wardrobe space.
- For clothing you don’t hang – like tees, shorts, belts and more – consider storing these in totes on shelves – allowing for easy access when they’re needed.
- Store shoes in stackable boxes so they don’t get squashed. Howards’ acrylic boxes are ideal for this; you can see the shoes and they feature holes for ventilation.
- Create zones in your wardrobe; hung items, tote items, stored shoes and special occasion pieces. This makes getting ready almost like a fun production line!

Definitely the storage totes. I am about to move into a new house and I think my wardrobe will be full of cardboard boxes for a while! These totes would be the perfect way to begin organising everything!

Loving all the Elegance range but what an improvement it would be to have coat hangers with those special slots so strappy tops & dresses don’t fall off & end up a crumbled heap on the floor!
Hi! Love your Blog and Instagram! I also love the HSW Elegance large totes! They’d look perfect in my monochrome apartment for kids toys and bits and pieces!!
My favourite is the coat hanger with the non slip inserts and bar . I’m always needing to dry work t-shirts without leaving a crease across the chest so to slip them onto these would solve that problem. That said, the shoe boxes are awesome!

Those storage totes with the chrome eyelets are amazing. I can already visualise them fitting right in the high shelves of my new white and grey wardrobe.
The premium storage totes are just gorgeous and this is a method of storage that I’m only just getting into. So far we’re using this type of thing in my son’s room and there is definitely capacity to extend it to other areas of the house.
I heart the premium acrylic shoeboxes! Shoes are definitely a pain to organise, especially because I want to display them AND stack them. I didn’t think you could have it both ways until now!
