September Blog Giveaway: Win a $500 Block Shop Gift Card

It feels like The Block took an eternity to get to our screens in 2020, don’t you think? Thank the decor gods that it finally arrived though, because I’m so hungry to sink my teeth into some fresh design. The drama, I can do without that part. But new rooms to explore: gimme gimme gimme.

One of the things I love the most about The Block each year (apart from my recaps, of course) is getting a hold of the products used in the rooms each week. The questions I always get asked from blog readers over the years are things like “where can I get that wallpaper from?”, or “do you know where that headboard can be sourced?”.

The answer to these questions is always, “The Block Shop!”. If you’re not across this glorious online emporium, it’s the go-to website for all of the products you see the teams on The Block use each week. And in 2020 it’s no different.

Love a Room Reveal? Get it all from The Block Shop

The Block Shop was established back in 2012 by cousins Emma Garland and Sarah Armstrong. Both had worked for Channel 9 before they launched the store. Emma as The Block’s Social Media Manager and Sarah as the show’s publicist.

They, like me, were always seeing questions pop up from the general public about where products on the show could be sourced. And as a watcher of these sorts of shows, I feel your pain. There’s nothing worse than falling in love with a piece of art you see in a reveal and having no idea where you can get your hands on it.

And so Emma and Sarah launched The Block Shop and it’s been going strong for the last eight years (the same amount of time as the TLC Interiors blog. Twinning!). And seriously, there are so many amazing products there to nab for your own home.

It Stocks Decor, Furniture and Reno Supplies

It’s been quite an evolution for The Block Shop over the years. What I adore so much about it is that you can get all the smaller decor items you see on the show (like cushions, candles, bedding etc). But then the larger furniture items are there as well.

Beyond that, you can find more building-supply items like solar skylight, door hinges, plasterboard and more. It really is a one-stop shop for pulling off the look of your fave Block room each week, whether your focus is decorating or more renovation.

The other great thing about The Block Shop is that they can provide alternative products to the ones in the rooms if they don’t stock the exact item that was used in a reveal. So you still get to pull off the look and feel, and can order a whole host of decor goodies from the one supplier.

I’m very excited to be partnering with The Block Shop for my September giveaway. Below you’ll find all of the details to enter the competition to win a $500 Block Shop gift card. It’s going to come in handy as you watch the 2020 season and see some must-have items pop up on your TV screens.

So simply follow the prompts below and you’re on your way to creating your very own Block interior. Good luck!
