Love a home that’s packed with colour but still retains a sense of sophistication? Look no further than today’s home tour, which belongs to style queen Yvette Wilson from local blog The Stylist Splash.
You know I love showcasing the Real Rooms of readers, Creatives, and today's edition is a real show-stopper. Relaxed and casual, the living room of Laura Downie comes to life through its use of minimalistic design and unique furniture pieces. Let's take a closer look inside, shall we?

After all, the cats were behaving, the sun was shining and I was busy killing time trying to avoid doing homework for my course (procrastination is something I've become very skilled at). Needless to say, I had kittens, died from excitement, resuscitated myself and high-tailed it to their Alexandria warehouse for a behind the scenes tour - camera in hand!
Freedom and I have had a long friendship. I recall saving up across several paycheques as an 18 year old and going to Freedom to get my first real bedroom setting; an amazing bed, tallboy and two bedside tables combination. Years on (I won't divulge exactly how many) I still gravitate toward this homewares haven for the very same reasons I did back then; phenomenal furniture with form, function and fun. On with the store tour of Freedom Top Ryde...
