I go cuckoo for colour when it comes to interior design, so it should come as no surprise that I almost had to call a medic when I cast my eyes over these images of Matisse Beach Club. It has got to be the country’s most colourful venue – with a Miami cabana aesthetic I’m positively losing my mind over! Let’s take a look inside this decor delight!

I’ve trawled the web and am yet to discover who the talented designer behind this venue is. Needless to say, they’ve nailed meshing a high-end and colourful aesthetic without a bit of whimsy in sight. It’s not an easy task to introduce bold colour into a space that you want to retain a sense of sophistication, but this Scarborough club passes the test with flying colours.
While the interior is nothing short of stunning – featuring grand white seating splashed with pops of purple and other hue – it’s the outdoor poolside cabanas I’m most smitten with. Starring five varying colour schemes across these little rooms, they light up at night to give the setting a real party vibe. I’m considering getting the red eye to Scarborough right now to experience this scene – with a call ahead to place my order for an Espresso Martini, of course!
The fab part, for those of us nowhere near Perth, is that you can hit the Matisse Beach Club website and go on a virtual tour of the venue, experiencing every glorious nook and cranny of this must-see club experience.
Have you been to Matisse Beach Club? Is it as stunning as the photos depict? I’d love to hear from you in the comments below.

I went here on a bar tour and enjoyed a bottle of champagne with some girlfriends pool side, it is an amazing place. I love the head stools and tried to find out where I could buy them from but they’re about $1000 a pop so a little too excessive for me! Great place though 🙂
