I make no secret of the fact that I have a major crush on Shaynna Blaze. I've interviewed her a number of times on the blog before, but we're actually yet to meet in person. The day will come eventually, of course. I'm just waiting for Channel 9 to make me the fourth judge on The Block and then our fates are sealed.

So it was quite a gigantic week this week on The Block as The Blocktagon terrace reveals went down and the couples got the chance to re-do their failed rooms. It was such a bumper week, in fact, that I've had to split out the posts into two seperate articles!

Confession time: plants never last long on my balcony or terrace.

In the past few years I’ve moved house a few times (most recently from Sydney to Melbourne) and no matter where I style up my outdoor plants, they usually die within months of planting.

We tend to spend a lot more time thinking about our interiors than we do our outdoor areas. And fair call; we spend far longer on the sofa than we do the hammock. But now that warmer weather is approaching (praise the lord) it's wise to think about your garden or courtyard and how to give it the most trending look for the year ahead. That trend, dear Creatives, is paving - grey to be precise. And boy can it transform your space!
