Custom neon lights are my latest infatuation.

I’ve been smitten with neon lights in general for years now. But lately, the concept of getting my own slogan made has become really appealing. Imagine having some text on your wall, in an electric pink or yellow, that displays a sentence or word that has some meaning to you? I love the idea. I don’t know exactly what I’d get just yet (maybe “time for a wine”). But I know I want one terribly!

I first discovered Electric Confetti a few months back when I saw their awesome Blue Heaven lights at my local cafe, Gellibrand. I was naturally quite captivated by it and have since discovered that they have a whole range of neon light goodness on offer for your home.

They’re so happy and bright I can barely cope. The good news is that you can get them to create a custom light using whatever text you like.

I’ve featured Neon Poodle on the blog before here, and just love the story of its founder Sammy Gibson. Sammy was so desperate to find kid-friendly lighting for her daughter’s room that she upped and created her own.

“When we first started our main focus was actually on kids bedrooms,” Sammy told me. “But as we grow we have brought out new products that are able to work in any space”.

Since the business launched in 2015, it’s only gone from strength to strength, producing a whole stack of gorgeous lights like the Fly High angel wings piece above. The Love is Love light directly above is another standout from Sammy’s range, an of course she creates custom signage if you want your little one’s name or other text lit up on your walls.
