If you’re eager to add a bit of theatre to your home this season but popcorn and choc tops are strictly prohibited, the new range of velvet furniture from Incy Interiors has you covered. And it’s so breathtaking that I think I need some ventolin! Let’s take a closer look.
The Incy Interiors Velvet Furniture Range
Influenced by the Elizabethan era, this new range of velvet furniture features three wonderfully rich colour stories; Sybilla (pink), Ashford (teal) and Hugo (indigo). Naturally, as a lover of all things teal, I am swooning bigtime over that particular colourway, but there’s something for everyone in this range if you’e keen on drama and sumptuousness.
There are four pieces of furniture on offer in the new Velvet range; a king size bedhead, king single bedhead, ottoman and settee. Each features comfort and cushiness, with delicate details that tap into this year’s hottest interiors trend, Everyday Opulence.
As you can see from the photos in this post, there’s a definite sense of flamboyancy in this collection too, and Lord knows I’m all for a bit of that. It was an intentional move to make these vintage pieces feel that way, says the divine creators of the brand, Kristy Withers.
“We wanted to create a collection that helps us step back in time with a little vintage charm,” Kristy explains, adding that there’s something timeless about velvet that she wanted to explore in this moody new range.
“It’s a fashion stalwart that we’ve applied to our modern-day designs,” she says.
Whether it’s used to bring a pop of colour and lustre to cool tone rooms or to add warmth, depth and texture to an interior space, velvet is a material that can do both. So if you’re keen to explore the range further, simply jump onto the Incy Interiors website here: www.incyinteriors.com.au
Pricing for the Velvet range is as follows: King size bedhead RRP $999, King single bedhead RRP $699, Ottoman RRP $499, Settee RRP $999.
Are you loving the look of this moody new velvet range from Incy Interiors? I’d love to know which colour is your fave in the comments below.
Teal and those inky blues. And may I just say thank the lord that we are seeing grown up interior styles instead of pastels and white on white on white with perhaps a framed print of a feather oh and maybe a grey throw chucked over something.
I love the ‘end of the bed’ ottoman. It would go with my huge black velvet King bedhead I picked up at a liquidation sale (brand new in box) for $99; I still have the receipt because I couldn’t believe it… Love ‘Incy’s’ beautiful range. It’s about time we get a bit ‘LUXE’
