Confession: I’ve always had a bit of a thing for OZ Design. The ‘choose your own adventure’ aspect of their furniture, where you can customise some of the pieces to suit your space, has always appealed to me. After I cast my eyes over their Spring Summer 14/15 Collections, I’m certain it’s love. Let’s take a closer look at some stunning new releases!
This is a TLC solution for OZ Design
OZ Arthouse Collection
Let’s start with my fave – the OZ Arthouse Collection. The colour has been ramped up big-time with the arrival of the Betty sofa you see above in orange. Paired with the warm tones of the Marilyn coffee table and contrasted with cool, blue accessories, these pieces allow you to create a lively scene for spring, summer and beyond. The curved lines of the coffee table and sofa – as well as Betty’s glorious button detailing, keep the look retro and visually punchy.
If a subdued colour palette is more your style, the Tatler sofa in gorgeous blue hues – complete with matching piping – will make your space feel casual yet cool. Scatter this look with coastal-inspired colours (in art, vessels and cushions) and you’ve created a room that feels resolved. The Tatler is giving me heart palpitations in the best possible way, actually. I want it for my office something shocking!

OZ Global Collection
The OZ Global collection is all about, as the name suggests, the merging of international styles. The Henry sofa in leather is just the beginning of the furniture fantasy; its Scandi-inspired design has me swooning. The clean lines of this piece, paired with the warm colouring, make it understated yet interesting. The cushioning of this sofa makes it feel soft and inviting – and I love the nod to the tribal aesthetic that this setting is giving (really on-trend in interiors at the moment).
I’m also taken aback by the Quinn Ottoman above. I don’t usually gravitate toward a warm colour palette but the Ecuador Flame fabric is too good to resist. I also love the fact that the top is removable, which makes this piece a versatile storage solution (which could double as a coffee table).

OZ Abode Collection
Florals, motifs and a flurry of colour pared against a solid backdrop has been the cornerstone of the Abode Collection, and the new pieces this season stay true to that formula. So if you’re into having a few visual punches in your space without going too over the top, this range is your bestie. There’s also an understated elegance at play in the Abode collection, so it works well in a room you want to feel a bit lavish, but without a hint of pretentiousness in sight.
The Giselle Designer Chair is the clear standout here, with its vibrant colourway and unapologetic use of florals. Let it be your statement piece in room; bring calmer hues and shapes into the space to make this beauty pop. To tie a piece like this into the room successfully, pull colours from the fabric and feature them in accessories like cushions on your sofa.
OZ Coastal Collection
The coastal style is never going to go off-trend, but keeping the look fresh and contemporary can be a challenge. Consider the Beech modular sofa and Haven coffee table, which are an undisputed decor match made in heaven. The colours are relaxed, the lines are clean and the finish on that coffee table feels wonderfully rustic and weathered.
If you’re looking for ways to soften a coastal look like this even further, throw down some soft furnishings like large floor cushions or ottomans (as seen above). Adding plush pieces like this to a setting that has clean lines makes the space feel balanced – creating a harmonious and ‘lived-in’ look (my preferred setting at all times!). You can also add black and white pieces to a collection like this to give is a coastal-cum-Scandi feel, which is very on-trend at the moment.
