There’s something unbeatable about quote art, don’t you think?
Don’t let anyone tell you that this is a trend on the way out, either. I love me some inspirational and/or motivational quote art on the walls of my office and bedroom. It can be cute, it can be quirky, or it can be altogether hilarious.
I also like that quote art is so personal. You end up with a piece on your wall or mood/cork board that really speaks to you. That’s the key to it looking and feeling right in a space, actually; that it speaks to you on a deeper level.
Below I’m lifting the lid on my top 10 fave places to buy quote art online. Let me know if there’s a brand you think I’ve missed. I’d love to know about it in the comments below.
1. The Blackline by Lauren
This has gotta be my fave of the bunch. A gorgeous business run by calligrapher Lauren Hung. There’s a huge variety of quote art in this online store (including the two prints above) and all of it features gorgeous lettering from Lauren herself. 2. My Sweet Prints
Run by designer Janette Baker, My Sweet Prints is all about bringing a positive and inspiring vibe to your home. The store stocks loads of quote art, other prints, maps and even educational charts and alphabet art for kids. I’m smitten!
3. Alma Custom Designs
As the name suggests, Alma Custom Designs specialises in creating unique, custom-made art. Anything from kids names, birthdates and other pieces to commemorate the important moments and milestones in life. They also stock some awesome candles and bamboo prints that are well worth exploring. There’s a bit of magic for all ages here.
4. The Little Things Design
What I love about Geelong-based The Little Things Design is that the quote art is so bold and visually punchy. This is definitely a brand for colour lovers who aren’t shy to rock bright hue at home. There’s a huge range here that goes well beyond quote art too that you’ll definitely fall hard for.
5. Yorkelee Prints
I have a big place in my heart for this awesome Aussie brand. There are so many stunning pieces in the Yorkelee Prints range, but I’m head over heels for their quote art the most. There’s not only gorgeous pieces for kids (as you can see above) but cheeky and inspiring art for adults too (like these ones in my own home). A definite must-see.
6. Rachel Kennedy Designs
The amazing Rachel Kennedy Designs was one of the first quote art brands I came across when I started this blog a few years back. The love for this local biz has only gotten stronger since then. The art from Rachel is bright and cheerful, and packed with watercolour goodness. It only gets better and better, so I suggest you take a look at grab a piece for your own home.
7. My Little Perfect
If you’re looking for quote art for your little one’s bedroom, My Little Perfect is your go-to brand. The designs are as cute as ever, and you might even find yourself picking up some of their adorable stationery or bedding too. It’s all too cute for words.
8. The Pretty Addicted
Another of my fave brands is the divine The Pretty Addicted. What makes this biz so good is that they do custom pieces as well as stocking a load of other gorgeous quote art prints. They’re also fond of using gold foil, which is a personal fave of mine. So if you love chic and sophisticated art, this is your go-to brand.
9. Minty Prints
Casey and Amy are the two country girls behind this popular business and I’ve been a fan of their work for years. Minty Prints has stellar, empowering quote art like the Girl Boss one above. But they also create a tonne of other art for kids and adults. It’s gutsy, colourful, cheeky and charming. So if any of those words describe your vibe, you need to check them out.
10. Olive et Oriel
Last but definitely not least is the mind-blowing Olive et Oriel. Founded by Teigan McCleary in 2013, this brand is all about exceptional quality. They produce prints, posters and decals using the finest stock. The designs are stand-outs in a crowded quote art market, and I reckon you’ll find more than a few for your own abode.
