Whether you’re across crystal meanings or not, there’s something truly magical about a crystal if you ask me. I’ve got a few in my home, that sit on my desk in the office, and they look absolutely stunning. The glisten, the shine, the ability to work them into vignettes with ease; there’s just so much to love about them.
Like a tattoo, I’m convinced that once you get one, you end up getting a hunger to attain more. Or at least that’s true in my case!
If you are keen to find out more about crystal meanings and what some of the most popular ones are said to bring to your life, look no further than today’s post. I’ve asked the divine Rachel Crethar from Rock & Co to take us through her top five crystals and what they mean. Better still, Rachel’s been kind enough to offer a wellness pack containing six crystals that you have the chance to win further down in this post.
Rachel tells me that when it comes to why crystals are so special, they appeal to people on two levels.
“Crystals are not only beautiful to look at, they are a great way to bring a little magic into your life,” she says.
“When choosing a crystal, some people choose simply by what they are drawn to, whereas others start by asking themselves what area of their life they would like to see an improvement in,” Rachel explains. “Whether that’s love, creativity, money, mental clarity and so on”.
Below, Rachel explains some crystal meanings so you can find the right one for you!

I’m always drawn to amethyst. It’s calming, and I feel centered and balanced as soon as I hold it or am near it. Love it.
Would love to win this beautiful pack the rose Quartz for me stands out to bring love and protection over my small family and amethyst to help relieve stress as I have been overcome with anxiety the past few months which would help
My love for crystals is the delight they bring when given as a gift . I like to add a little note with the meaning of the crystal I have gifted so they can relate/understand that crystal and just the beauty and calmest they bring to my home xo
I can’t choose a fav crystal but if I did have to choose just one it would be clear Quartz . It is just so beautiful in both meaning and looks xo
I have recently found that I am drawn to both the clear and smoky Quartz. With so many overwhelming moments each and everyday, having that added clarity and focus is so wonderful and having the quartz by your side is comforting.
The celestite stone appeals to me the most, as I am in a place where my body and soul need restoration and rejuvenation. I believe this stone would be perfect to take with me wherever I go, to help me remain calm and peaceful, and to enhance the cleansing program I am currently going through. I think the other stones would complement the celestite stone beautifully, and are very much in keeping with my spirituality.
My favourite crystal by far is rose quartz, I have a few pretty pieces by my bed side table and I also hang one around my neck at times. I have total belief I the energies of crystals and would love to further my education and understandings of these little beauties ✨✨✨✨
I think I need to have a Celestite crystal in my house! With health issues with Cohen and times of stress, this would be great x
Hi Chris
I just love your posts as they don’t discriminate in any way what road anyone chooses to go down when it comes to interiors. You embrace everything. Crystals aren’t everyone’s cup of tea however I have a huge collection that fills a decorative glass jar with a lid on my bedside table. Call me a bit of a looney, but I also put them outside when it’s a full moon to ‘recharge’ them as it is said that it strengthens their properties. I need all the help I can get… Lol. Once again this is why ‘TLC’ is my ultra favourite blog. Thx Chris
I have wonderful memories of my Nanna (90 years young this year) and her enormous quartz crystal, most probably found on one of our fossicking trips through the gold fields north of Adelaide. It would sit atop the television box to direct good energy towards us all. How lovely to fill your home with such natural beauty. It’s nice to see them comingback into vogue.
I’ve always been fascinated by crystals, but haven’t spent a lot of time around them. The celestite definitely resonated with me, and I’d love to keep something like this on my desk at work, to help diffuse office politics & and keep me feeling calm and stress-free when deadlines are looming!
