Whether you’re across crystal meanings or not, there’s something truly magical about a crystal if you ask me. I’ve got a few in my home, that sit on my desk in the office, and they look absolutely stunning. The glisten, the shine, the ability to work them into vignettes with ease; there’s just so much to love about them.
Like a tattoo, I’m convinced that once you get one, you end up getting a hunger to attain more. Or at least that’s true in my case!
If you are keen to find out more about crystal meanings and what some of the most popular ones are said to bring to your life, look no further than today’s post. I’ve asked the divine Rachel Crethar from Rock & Co to take us through her top five crystals and what they mean. Better still, Rachel’s been kind enough to offer a wellness pack containing six crystals that you have the chance to win further down in this post.
Rachel tells me that when it comes to why crystals are so special, they appeal to people on two levels.
“Crystals are not only beautiful to look at, they are a great way to bring a little magic into your life,” she says.
“When choosing a crystal, some people choose simply by what they are drawn to, whereas others start by asking themselves what area of their life they would like to see an improvement in,” Rachel explains. “Whether that’s love, creativity, money, mental clarity and so on”.
Below, Rachel explains some crystal meanings so you can find the right one for you!
Crystal Meanings: 5 Rocks Explained
Clear Quartz
Clear Quartz is known as the ‘master healer’, and the most versatile crystal – making it the perfect stone for the start of any collection.
It is said that Clear Quartz absorbs, stores and regulates the energies around it, meaning it can not only clear any unwanted energy but help you manifest via positive energy .
Clear Quartz is also an ideal companion during meditation, study or times you require focus, as it’s beneficial for clarity and clearer thinking.

It can give you a more positive outlook, whilst providing the energy to strengthen your willpower and determination.
Citrine can help you manifest your dreams by increasing your imagination and strengthening mental clarity.
Celestite
Celestite has a reputation for being a powerful healing stone, restoring inner balance and helping to resolve conflict with its soft and gentle energy.
It is said Celestite can encourage mental clarity during times of stress and promote an overall feeling of peace – instilling confidence that everything will turn out okay.

My 6 year old loves collecting crystals. I’m drawn to Amethyst, she has a little amethyst heart she keeps under her pillow to encourage sleep. Sleep is a huge issue for her, so anything that helps!
I’m drawn to celestite due to its calming powers for stress. With 4 kids and a crazy day to day routine, being able to come home and feel at ease would be bliss.
Recently going through a recovery I used an amethyst crystal to give me strength to believe that all would be OK. It was a great comfort to me. I feel we all can benefit from the power crystals can give us. 🙂
This is like picking your favorite chocolate! I love rose quartz for its ability to offset negative vibes and digital transmissions like wifi, but amathyst is just SO pretty!
For as long as I can remember I’ve been attracted to crystals, rocks and gems. When I was a child I dreamed of being a geologist in hope I could dig for and play with crystals! I still have my childhood collection kept in a glass pyramid in my home. Whilst not on your list, I’ve always been drawn to moonstone, I keep it close by to aid in my artistic self-expression and hope it brings good fortune. It grounds me to this magical earth and verifies my love for the moon. It also happens to be my birthstone!
I’m really keen to add Celestite to my budding collection. It feels me reads like a relevant crystal to me right now, if love to be able to cruise through stress with ease! I’d also be interested in how I can match this with essential oils as #rockandco explains in her blogs!
Rose Quartz really stands out to me…as a mother of two girls (one toddler and a newborn) there is a softness to the rose Quartz that demands your attention and is instantly calming. I have always dreamed of being a mum and love my role being a mama to two beautiful girls, and though there be plenty of joy, there are also times where you can’t go wrong with an extra love energy in the room. An energy that can help you focus and remind you of the love you have for those around you, but also a love for yourself. I’d love to win this pack to bring these beautiful energies to my home as well as sharing with a new man friend in a similar situation to mine x
I love all these crystals, clear quartz, amethyst, celestite, citrine -ahh the warmth from the sun xx. What a beautiful gift it would be to share with another xxx
Loved this post! I am becoming more & more obsessed and intrigued by crystals and their properties. I always thought it was purely because of their beauty but am starting to really deeply feel their power & support. I am so grateful that you love them too and are educating everyone that crystals can be used as beautiful styling pieces and well as for their impressive properties because I think that too and love that my 2 passions are merging.
In terms of my favourite of this list they are all top of mine too but I am drawn to the Celestite today for it’s beautiful calming hue and properties that I could certainly use.
Rose quartz! I recently discovered rock & co thanks to theyallhateus but haven’t actually had the chance to bring crystals into my home yet! The rose quartz and self love is something I would welcome as life has been challenging lately and I’m focusing on staying loving and positive
