When I hosted last month's Tile & Style workshop with The Block's Kyal and Kara, one of the things I discovered was just how many things you can do with tiles. Not that it should really come as a surprise, of course, but feature tiles really can transform a space like no other material can. I filmed a recent video on feature tiles if you'd like to check it out here, but this post it not all about me - it's about these amazing new tiles from stylist Tim Neve.

I'm a firm believer in being inspired by the everyday. I think if you look hard enough, you can pretty much use anything in your everyday life (even the seemingly mundane) to inspire an interior design scheme. It could be a tree you pass on the way to work, a piece of jewellery you wear all the time, an old bowl you have at home, or in my case - random moments I see when I'm out running. And sometimes you're not sure why these moments appeal to you, or why they move you, but they do.

If you’re a bit addicted to home reno and makeover shows like I am, you’d have watched the stack of UK series’ they play on Foxtel. Grand Designs, Property Ladder, Double Your Home and Location, Location, Location (just to name a few, of course).

The one thing I notice the homes have in these shows time and time again is the wall-mounted heating systems in living areas and heated towel rails in bathrooms. And I always wondered why we didn’t have these in Australia. Turns out, thanks to Bosch, we do.
