  1. What’s your suggestion on the size of mirror? We are decorating our hall/entranceway with a Modernist console from Freedom (H: 75cm / L: 150cm). We can’t agree on size of round mirror between 90cm and 120cm? Is bigger better?

    1. It depends on the size of your entryway. If you’re tight on space, go the 90. It’s about the space as a whole, and if both the mirror and the console are going in a small space, it might feel overwhelming. But if you have the room, 120 all the way 🙂

  2. What type of mirrors should I hang in a small hallway? The walls are taupe/brown color. Please help!!

    1. Hey Libby. It depends on the length of hallway, and the style of your home. Tough to say without images. Maybe you can come join my Facebook group where we share advice on issues like this all the time: https://www.facebook.com/groups/tlcdecoratingjunkies/

  3. Mirror Mirror!!! Love a large mirror! I used round mirrors from Vavoom Furniture in a hair salon with back lighting and super chuffed with the results.

  4. Hi Chris! I got a lovely round mirror for my ensuite from Print Decor in Malvern. They supply The Block Shop with their round mirrors. Loved this blog post

  5. West Elm has some lovely options in their range too. Definitely on the pricier end of the spectrum but sometimes we’ll worth the splurge.

  6. Would you believe Kmart have large round mirrors with black trim for only $29.95, looks exactly like the one from the block shop.

    1. Really? That sounds amazing. Are they the same size though? I have a feeling they might be smaller for that price.

  7. love that oval Bjorn black framed one and the whole tile display, just beautiful in its simplicity — mind you I would need 2 side by side to save arguments and the “move over, I cannt see in the mirror” – thanks for keeping us up to date and entertained

    1. haha no worries at all Anna. Love sharing all my fave decor finds with you! And agree re two: you never want an argument to break out over who’s hogging the mirror 😉
