I’ve been a big fan of HOORAY since it first landed seven issues ago. It was formerly named Hitched, and focused predominantly on weddings, but has recently rebranded and gotten bigger and better, with a much broader offering. Now, HOORAY covers events, party planning, occasions and celebrating the everyday. In the latest issue – out today – TLC Interiors features!

You know I love me some dinnerware and entertaining (any excuse to fuss around a table and I’m there), so I was delighted to be one of the contributors for issue 7. In the Impromptu Entertaining spread, I sourced some gorgeous must-have pieces from the likes of Villeroy & Boch, kikki.K, Resident GP, Maison Blanche and more.
These are all brands I’ve featured on the blog before, because I’m simply smitten with their aesthetic. The pieces in the spread feel perfect for spring; a time to swing open your doors, dust off your balconies and have friends over for a cheeky cocktail (Espresso Martini’s are my current libation of choice – what’s yours?).

Setting the scene on the table is, of course, vital, so when it comes to decking this space out for spring, embrace florals and layer, layer, layer. If you’re keen to get some ideas on how to create a gorgeous table setting, check out my post on Spring Table Setting Ideas. And never forget about fragrance, either. If it’s one thing that sets mood in a room like nothing else, it’s heavenly aroma – so always consider a candle that doesn’t feel too overpowering, but instead emits a subtle scent around your space!
A big thanks to the team at HOORAY for having me in issue 7 – loving every bit of it!
