Before I trained as an interior stylist, putting a room together at home that I could be proud of was a pretty overwhelming experience. Knowing what colours to combine, what textures to introduce and where to position all the furniture was all a little ‘too hard basket’, and often resulted in my rooms feeling completely confused.
The good news, if you’re feeling this pain at the moment, is that hope is on the horizon. With a little help and guidance from those in-the-know, along with some hands-on mood boarding, you’ll soon discover that creating a dreamy space at home can actually be pretty fun (and easy!).
That’s what this Thursday’s Home Styling Workshop at Metricon Homes is all about. I’ll be hosting the event, and together we’ll go on a journey to help put your dream room together.
You’ll hear from the team at Lovelight and Warwick, which will get you all clued up on 2016 window treatment and fabric trends for the home. You’ll then have an opportunity to get hands on, creating a mood board for your room and getting expert help from the interior design team at Metricon in their dreamy Studio M; a design mecca filled with all of the inclusions that go into a Metricon home (trust me, it’s breathtaking!).
This is a fantastic opportunity to hear from some of the best people in the industry and walk away knowing exactly what you need to do to create your dream room.
