If anyone is going to start a candle addiction society, please contact me to be your spokesperson. I’ve confessed on the blog before to owning 39 scented candles (more on that here), and truth be told the number is now sitting at around 45 including diffusers. But who’s counting? Probably my partner, actually.
The other thing I’m quite open about is my belief that there are spring/summer candles and autumn/winter candles. Similar to perfumes or colognes, most candle and diffuser scents are distinctly more fruity (summery scents) or more earthy (winter fragrances). And then there are the scents you can burn all-year-round. Those ones are the best ones, I find, and they’re the feature of today’s post.
I also believe that diffusers are a hot-to-trot alternative to candles, especially if you have little ones or pets around who are likely to play with flames (I’m looking at you, cats!). So don’t be afraid to give them a go too.
Candles & Reed Diffusers you can use Year-Round
The first brand on the list is the amaaaazing Tanda. Good Lord are they nirvana for the nostrils. I have two of their concrete candles. One is all done, sadly, and I’m too scared to start burning the other one. That’s when you know you’re onto the candle of your dreams – when you don’t want to light it out of fear it’ll melt away.
The team at Tanda also have the sublime diffusers you see above and they feature luxurious black oil. The oil lasts up to six months and they’re eco, vegan and kosher friendly. I have the Lily & Ginger and Pink Pepper fragrances at home and they are true revelation.
Tanda have been kind enough to offer readers 20% off a purchase on their website, so click here to visit it and enter the promo code LIGHTITUP20 at checkout.
